| Hiring out wonderful books to passionate readers and sharing our property with friends, what better way to spend our spare time. I have worked as a teacher librarian for over 20 years and have always loved reading and gardening. My husband and I wished for a more sustainable lifestyle and time to treasure the orange blossoms in our orchard. After living in the suburbs of Perth we headed for the hills to recapture some of our childhood memories, along with the smells and sounds of the bush. We serendipitously came upon this place while visiting friends. Driving down a gravel track we discovered six beautiful hectares in the Perth Hills. We now share it with local wildlife, our Jack Russell terrier and eight little red hens who live in a very flash designer chicken coop.Take time to wander around our space. |
